2021 Shelby Super Snake Mustang GT Convertible Speedster 322 Miles #85/98 825HP
I am pleased to offer this ultra rare 2021 Ford Mustang GT Shelby Super Snake Convertible Speedster finished in Shadow Black over a black leather interior with black over-the-top Le Mans striping. In celebration of Carroll Shelby’s 98th birthday, Shelby American introduced several heavily upgraded Mustang models with limited production runs of only 98 examples, including the two-seat Speedster model. The 2021 Mustang GT is already an exciting car, but the Super Snake Speedster package from Shelby America takes things to a completely different level. VIN # is 1FATP8FF1M5136445.
With a Ford MSRP of $61,160 BUT once Shelby got done with it and added the Super Snake Speedster package, the final MSRP was $146,150. The Shelby package was priced at $84,990.
The Super Snake Speedster comes equipped with a Whipple supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, 20” forged aluminum wheels, Brembo 6-piston front calipers, widened front fenders, serialized CSM badging, and much more. This example, #85 of 98, has been with its original owner from new and is now being offered with the remainder of its 3-year/36,000-mile warranty while showing only 322 +/- miles on the odometer. This car is only 1 of 21 in black with black interior.
To create the Super Snake Speedster, Shelby American removes the rear seats from the Mustang GT and fits a hard top tonneau system with dual speedster humps. This example is finished in Shadow Black with black over-the-top Le Mans striping and is one of less than 25% of Speedsters to have been configured as such according to Shelby American.
Details include widened aluminum front fenders, a ram-air hood with functional vents, a more aggressive front fascia with air-managed grills, ducts, and splitters, a rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, a Shelby tail panel, and Super Snake badging. It rides on a set of 20” forged aluminum wheels finished in black and dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller notes that the finish is protected by professionally applied ceramic coating.
The cabin is equipped with heated and ventilated seats upholstered in black leather with alcantara inserts and Super Snake embroidery on the backrests. A dashboard-mounted serialized plaque shows CSM number 21SS0085. Other details include a dashboard-mounted carbon fiber gauge pod with auxiliary gauges, “Speedster Edition” door sill plates and floor mats, automatic climate control, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine which has been equipped with a Whipple supercharger, the Shelby Extreme cooling system, a billet throttle body, high-performance fuel injectors, and a Borla exhaust system, for a total of 825 HP according to Shelby American. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 10-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential. Additional performance upgrades include performance half shafts rated up to 1,500 HP, a transmission cooler, extended hardened wheel studs, the Ford Performance track handling pack, and Shelby by Brembo 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brakes.
