I am pleased to offer this rare 1958 Scarab MK1 continuation recreation. This beauty features an all aluminum body, LS3 motor, Tremec 5 speed trans., quick change rear end, Wilwood brakes and real knock off wheels. Mileage is only 1500 miles. This is a street legal car that is tame when needed and a beast when you desire it be. It is currently registered in Illinois and driven on the street from time to time. Never raced. Features: - Body is exact copy - Frame is exact copy - Aluminum body - 500+ HP - Very usable for the street - Titled as a 1958 Scarab (great for export) - $90,000 + just for a rolling chassis - Chassis #15 completed in 2010 - Only approx. 22 built Details from Scarab Motorsports: Starting with a handcrafted aluminum body built to the original car's specifications, the Scarab Motorsports team adds coilover shocks and springs, Wilwood 12-inch rotors with stainless steel lines and the standard array of items necessary to make this a street legal vehicle.
