The Longest Yard Original Movie Poster 1974 Burt Reynolds Eddie Albert
Available today is an original folded one sheet movie poster from the 1974 US release of The Longest Yard starring Burt Reynolds and Eddie Albert and directed by Robert Aldrich. It was obtained directly from a theater owner in the late 1980’s and is guaranteed to be 100% original. Size is 27″ X 41″. Again, this is not a reprint.
Film synopsis: “A sadistic warden asks a former pro quarterback, now serving time in his prison, to put together a team of inmates to take on (and get pummeled by) the guards.”
The NSS or National Screen Service # in the lower right corner 74/207 indicates year of release, 1974 and sequential order of movie release for that year, 207.
The poster does have some flaws – there are some stains visible on the outside edges of the poster as well a thumb tack hole in each of the upper two corners and also a small bit is missing from the top center fold.
