Vintage 18K Solid Gold IWC Schaffhausen Men’s Watch 1950’s

Offered today is a vintage International Watch Co. Schaffhausen watch in solid 18Kt gold. It is from my personal collection and being sold simply to make room for new acquisitions. It has raised gold arabic numerals and markers and fancy sculpted lugs. IWC is arguably one of the finest Swiss watch manufacturers.
The ivory tone dial is very original and shows a nice patina for it’s age with only minor wear. This watch was purchased by my father in approx. 1950 in Germany.
This watch measures 36 mm in diameter and 42 mm from lug tip to lug tip and is fitted with a nice black lizard band. There is some wear to the band and buckle.
The back is a snapback with no engraving and is marked: “18K, 0.750, PROBUS, IWC, Scafusia, 1232523, 149” The movement is marked: “International Watch Co. Swiss, 1203383” The movement is a manual wind Cal. 89, which keeps very accurate time. This movement is well known in watch circles as an exceptional example of the watchmakers art, being both accurate and very durable.
A hearty and highly collectable watch that will stand the test of time and will surely appreciate in the years to come. The watch is in overall excellent condition. A prized watch for your collection.
I wore this watch for a few days and it kept very accurate time.
I guarantee the authenticity of this classic IWC watch.
