Rare Vintage 1909 I.W.Harper Whiskey Vitrolite Meyercord Framed Sign Ad
I am pleased to offer this antique, original, vintage 1909 I.W. Harper Whiskey sign. The captions reads: “Here’s Happy Days,” copyright 1909 by the Bernheim Dist. Co. The image is of a hunting cabin scene on Vitrolite and produced by the Meyercord Co. of Chicago. The print is in excellent original condition.
This great antique original I.W. Harper advertising sign is made of 1/4 inch thick porcelain. They don’t make ’em like this anymore!!
Measurements for the ad are: 18″ X 24″ and measurements for the framed piece are: 24″ X 30″.
The owner notes that the frame (likely original frame) has some damage across the bottom. Frame appears to be made from plaster or some similar material (very old). Leave it alone or replace the frame – your choice.
