Original Unrestored Vintage 1973 Schwinn Orange Krate with Disc Brake and Speedo

I am pleased to present this very original, unrestored survivor Schwinn Orange Krate bike. This bike is fully equipped with five speed Stik-Shift, front spring fork, rear shock absorber, bucket seats, and front drum brake. It also features:
– Original rear disc brake (very rare and costly)
– NOS Speedo (also costly)
– NOS headlight
– NOS hand brake lever covers
– Chrome plated fenders
– Excellent “banana” seat (may have been re-skinned)
– Factory correct tires in excellent condition
Serial # CJ519701 which corresponds to March 1973 production.
According to my research: The Orange Krate, the first Krate to be introduced in 1968, was the top-selling bike throughout the krate series’ six years.
