Dongyun Lee Giclée Print ‘Hope’
Dongyun Lee is one of “the fast and furious.” Having been in the United States for few years, he has moved up the ladder of fame very quickly. He brings his unique style to all his compositions, be they illustrations or gallery work. What sets him apart from his contemporaries is his lyricism and sense of movement. He combines Asian traditions with modern western figures.
Some of Dongyun’s numerous magazine, newspaper, and advertising campaigns include work for GQ, The Harvard Business Review, The Washington Post, Wired, The Utne Reader, The Progressive, and Time Out. His work has appeared at the Society of Illustrators, The Society of Illustrators of LA, American Illustration, 3×3 Magazine, CMYK, and Communication Arts. His gallery work has been exhibited in New York, L.A., London, and Seoul.
Currently, Dongyun works in New York City and focuses equally on both illustration and gallery work.
