Custom Hand Fabricated One-Off ’33 Ford Roadster Known as “Aluminator”

I am pleased to offer this incredible, one-off, hand fabricated 1933 Ford Custom Roadster. This car started life as a sketch by popular automotive artist, Eric Brockmeyer. From there, it was brought to life using aluminum (not fiberglass) by a very talented auto builder and restorer and has been dubbed the “Aluminator”. Us mere mortals couldn’t consider a project like this but there are a few builders who can produce a one-off car from a sketch. The results are incredible.
If you are a collector who is looking for a turn key, show winning car – this is it.
Why build it and wait years when it’s already built and this car definitely personifies the old adage, you couldn’t build it for the asking price. The builder estimates that he has approx. 2500 hours of labor and custom fabrication into this gorgeous car. The project took approx. 10 years to complete (off and on) and was completed in 2019 and has been driven only 187 “shake down” miles. VIN # is SCDMV000000533275.
This is literally a “great 8” car without the million dollar price tag. Examine the pictures and description below and determine for yourself.
According to the talented builder:
This project is a 1933 Ford Concept Roadster rendered by Eric Brockmeyer. I have hand built the chassis with independent suspension front and rear. The drivetrain is a 418 cubic inch small block Ford “stroker” motor with 500+ horsepower and 520 ft/lbs torque and a custom C4 automatic transmission. The body is constructed with steel framing and aluminum exterior working only from the rendition by Eric. The interior is my own design and all handmade metal and aluminum to be covered with leather upholstery.

This is truly a one of a kind custom ALUMINUM street rod built by a Pebble Beach concours winning builder from a well-known artists’ drawing. It has not been shown at any Goodguy’s, NSRA or car club event and has only been to one afternoon cruise in and one single day fund raising event. I have since had a custom show board made with the car info and pictures and a custom wheel held stand to display with the car at shows if desired. Attention to detail is outstanding as is the fit and finish throughout the build. I have the build and parts documentation, formulations for all of the paint colors, all the build pictures, manuals for build components and titling/registration documents and any information you may need about the car.
This car is titled in South Carolina as a 1933 Replica “Phantom” and is registered as the same.
