One of only 4136 XLR’s built in 2006 and one of only 903 produced in silver (only 21% of production in 2006). VIN # is 1G6YV36A465602405.

According to research from Cadillac, the car was original optioned with the following:

- Released for 2003, the XLR brought Cadillac back to the roadster segment after a long hiatus. It was related to the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, and the two models were built in the same facility, but it arrived as a more cruising-oriented drop-top with a power-folding hard top and a “Northstar” V8 related to the unit that powered the STS. Production ended in 2009, and Cadillac has steered clear of the convertible segment since.
- Cadillac built about 15,460 units of the XLR, including 3,730 for the 2005 model year.
- Power for this XLR comes from a 4.6L “Northstar” V8, rated at 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission
The Cadillac XLR is a cool sporty convertible, boasting gorgeous styling and exceptional rarity, as you don’t see too many of these on the road. This particular XLR has a lot to offer, including very low mileage, some service history from the past – and it also boasts a clean, accident-free Carfax report. The XLR also boasts a 4.6 liter Northstar V8, which hails from the era after General Motors had corrected earlier problems with this engine – and it makes good power and provides for strong performance.
I owned one of these rare XLR’s for a few months and absolutely loved it. They really great with the 4.6L Northstar engine. Prior to owning one, I had only seen an XLR on the road approx. once per year. These are rare and beautiful. It’s the “Cadillac Corvette” afterall.
