2003 One of a Kind Exile TV Bike Russell Mitchell – New

With quotes such as:
– “We want to expose the American people to clean, tough, European styling, whether they like it or not.”
and
– “America is a nation full of tasteless custom motorcycles, built by serious fashion criminals.”
Russell Mitchell has become the outspoken voice of custom motorcycles. His appearances on TV as well as his two wheeled creations are now legendary. Exile bikes are typically bare-bones streetfighter looking things–sporting flat black, powdercoat or wrinkle finishes and brushed aluminum–instead of high-gloss lacquer and chrome and that is the way that Russell Mitchell wants it.
Starting in Feb. 2005, this British rebel will be staring in a new motorcycle reality series on Fox .. to air on SpeedTV called, B.O.B. or Build Or Bust. * To visit B.O.B.’s website, click here.
The premise of the show is as follows: a regular guy has 30 days to design and build a custom bike from start to finish – if he does it, it’s his! If the bike is not sick enough (as judged by Russell), it is modified and completed by Russell and then made available for sale right here.
I was contacted by the director, Scott Gillen and was asked to list the bike for sale. The bike is owned by the production company and is titled as a 2003 Exile Cycle. The bike was built by the guys at Exile and not at home in a garage.
In This Episode: the regular guy jumped at the challenge to build his own custom bike but ended up falling short of the mark. With two days remaining, he left the set dejected. Russell Mitchell was called upon to complete the bike to his standards and that is where we are today. Please note that this episode is scheduled to air sometime in February 2005. Check your local listings for SpeedTV’s “Build or Bust” set to air in February on Wednesday night at 8:00pm.
