2000 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1956 Reissue Painted by Artist Rick Garcia
I am pleased to offer this 2000 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1956 reissue. This gorgeous guitar was painted by official Grammy Award artist Rick Garcia. Serial # is CS 0465. This guitar was painted and displayed at The Art of the Guitar II show at the Animazing Gallery in Soho in New York City (November 9, 2000) and then sold thru Gibson. Guitar includes Gibson custom guitar case.
The show featured instruments hand-painted by noted artists and musicians, including Leroy Neiman, “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, and legendary rock bassist John Entwhistle.
The Art Of The Guitar II featured 25 one-of-a-kind Gibson guitars, each hand-painted by the artist and available for purchase. Other artists contributing designs include Ralph Bakshi (Lord of the Rings), celebrated poster artist Derek Hess, Carol Paulson, Alison Lefcort, and official Grammy Awards artist Rick Garcia.
