1958 Austin Healey 100-6 Roadster Kurt Tanner Restoration

I am pleased to offer this fantastic 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 Roadster. This beautiful Roadster was built on July 2, 1958 as a North American export with LHD. It was received by Hambro Trading in Los Angeles. This California car was restored by renowned Austin Healey restorer Kurt Tanner in 2014 and has been garaged ever since. One of only 3821 Roadsters built, this car is fitted with a 161 cu.in. (2,639 c.c.) six-cylinder and SU carburetors producing 102 BHP and 142 ft lb of torque. Engine # 26D-RU-H/66126. A four speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive propels it to the 103 mph that made these Healeys popular amongst drivers and car enthusiasts alike. Hands down one of the greatest driving roadsters ever.
This car is equipped with every option available at the time; Wire wheels, laminated windscreen, overdrive, and heater. Side curtains and a full size spare come with the car just as it did when it rolled out of the showroom late in 1958. Beautiful Colorado red and black on the outside with black interior and red piping make this one of the most desired color combinations from this British Car builder. Not only is this a stunning show car but a fun driver. Tuned to perfection, this car performs just as well as it looks. Complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from the British Heritage Trust and the Austin Healey 100-6 handbook.
A great car to add to your collection or an equally great starting point for your collection.
This beauty is located in West Palm Beach, FL.
