1930’s Manton & Smith Pacer Cruiser Bike – Fully Restored and Rare

I am pleased to offer this very rare Manton & Smith Pacer vintage bicycle. It dates from between 1935 to 1938. This bicycle has been painstakingly restored and is extremely rare to say the least.
There was nothing spared in restoring this bike. All of the parts were painted with high quality materials. Absolutely no corners cut in bringing the paint back to life on this bike. 95 percent of the nut and bolts are original. Each nut and bolt was sand blasted and coated to prevent rust.
The bike also has the original saddle! There is a very small tear in the saddle but then again – it’s 76 years old. The owner thought to leave it original as it still looks great and he has never seen a basket weave style leather saddle. All the mechanisms on the saddle are original and look awesome.
All the bearings in the bike were cleaned greased and tested. All of the bearings are original and in excellent condition. The wheels were also powder coated. The bike has two new high end white wall tires along with new tubes. The owner even went as far as getting custom inner tube caps with chrome and little gem in it. The coaster wheel was rebuilt with oem parts. Everything on the bike is original except for the handle bars (owner will included the original handlebars with the sale).
This bicycle would make a great center piece to any vintage bike collection. There is not a single scratch anywhere!!!! And best of all it rides like new!!! This bike is 76 yrs old and cruises like a dream.
