1992 Ferrari F40 Recent Full Service Tubi PRISTINE
If you have been watching this car from the sidelines, your wait has finally paid off. The price has been reduced to a very aggressive level. Please read on!!!
I am very pleased to present one of the great Ferrari Supercars of all time. The F40. This is a "no stories" 1992 F40 with 16,500 miles. It has been freshly serviced (August 2007) and only driven approx. 500 since and includes a brand new Tubi exhaust. It is a no stories/never tracked car that has been meticulously maintained and is ready to go. The owner describes this car as P R I S T I N E. Looking at the many pictures, I couldn't agree more. VIN # is ZFFMN34A1N0091912.
There are service invoices dating back to 2002. I will recap the services below:
- 11/02 mileage 2349 - flush brake and clutch fluids, change Brembo brake pads ($1598)
- 12/02 mileage 3221 - mount and balance new Michelin Pilot Sport tires ($1761)
- 01/04 mileage 7610 - replace wastegate assembly ($3519)
- 08/04 mileage 9210 - fluid change
- 01/05 mileage 10,364 - major service to include cam belts, cam seals, overhaul water pump, overhaul alternator ($6891)
- 01/06 mileage 12,864 - replace left bank cat ECU ($1526)
- 09/06 mileage 13,404 - replace front brake rotors and pads ($1993)
The services above were performed by Lindsey Automotive of Kenner, Louisiana. He is a well respected private mechanic.
In addition, the owner recently spent approx. $30,000 taking this fine car to the next level. He did the following:
To celebrate 40 years of Ferrari, Enzo had his design team create a supercar that translated racing car technology to the road. It was the last car developed and built under Enzo Ferrari's direct supervision before he died and it became one of his greatest achievements. Total prodution was 1311.
The car is bone stock with the exception of a few tasteful modifications:
Momo 4 point harnesses
Laser Jammer and dual remote radar detectors
This great F40 recently took a Platinum Award in the Super Car Category of a Ferrari show (in Florida).
Just a small sampling of the high quality cars and motorcycles that I've sold for this individual:

- A truly incredible SuperCar
- While there are other F40's with lower mileage, there are few that can compare with respect to service history and condition
- No Stories, no track time
- Freshly serviced
- Tremendous attention to detail - owner is a meticulous enthusiast
- An excellent investment
Vehicle Condition - - I have not personally inspected or photographed this vehicle. I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller. I can however tell that this F40 is an exceptional vehicle in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. You are going to be hard pressed to find another one in this condition. I invite and encourage any interested party to inspect this car in the Tampa, FL area and determine for yourself that this car is truly in excellent condition. Seeing is really believing.
Absolutely no stories and no disappointments here. This is a freshly serviced and documented F40. It is commonly understood that you are better off with a completely serviced higher mileage Ferrari versus a lower mileage but neglected example.

**If you are considering this car and worried that it will be swiped up by another admiring Ebayer, use the Buy it Now so that you can sleep comfortably at night knowing that the car is yours. Please note that if you hit the Buy it Now by mistake (as has happened in the past), you will be charged a $75 re-listing fee. Bid carefully.
Take advantage of proxy bidding: Don't loose the vehicle at the last minute! There have been many people who have lost bids in the past because they were not familiar with proxy bidding. When you bid, bid the maximum amount that you are willing to spend on the vehicle. Each time someone bids higher than your last bid, eBay will automatically increment your bid by the minimum bid amount until it reaches your maximum. Don't get stuck loosing a good deal!
