Vintage Elgin Men's Watch Fancy Bezel 1952 17 Jewels

Offered today is a vintage Elgin Men's Watch with Stainless Steel case and 10K gold filled bezel with 17 jewel Elgin 683 manual wind movement.

The silver tone dial is very original and shows a nice patina for it's age with some wear. According to Elgin records, this watch was produced in 1952.

This watch measures 25 mm across and 35 mm from lug to lug and is fitted with a gorgeous black alligator band (may be real alligator or leather alligator). There is minor wear on the sides of the case (see picture).

The case is marked: "Cased and Timed by Elgin National Watch Co., Wadsworth Stainless Steel, 6737, U259937" The movement is marked: "Elgin 683 U S A, K656906, 17 Jewels, Adj'd"

The watch may need to be cleaned and serviced as it is not running at the moment.
