Vacheron Constantin, a Swiss watch manufacturer, is considered to be one of the top makers of traditional watches in the world. Many watch collectors place Vacheron Constantin on the same level as brands such as Patek Philippe, which provides an insight into how highly regarded the company is. Some of the company’s most famous models include the Patrimony line of wristwatches, which were the thinnest ever produced when first released.
When the Patrimony collection of watches was first released, the timepieces were the thinnest ever produced, at just over 5mm. The watches are generally simple in design, yet highly attractive and collectible. Vintage Vacheron Constantin Patrimony watches can sell for a range of prices, from $5000 to more than $20000, depending on the specifications of the watch and what complications it includes.
