The Porsche Carrera GT is regarded as one of the best supercars ever produced and is derived from a cancelled LeMans prototype racecar program. The carbon fiber chassis, dry sump oiling system, and inboard suspension system are clear examples of its motorsports background. The Porsche’s standard 6-speed manual transmission is a big plus in a supercar as the market continues its shift towards a greater utilization of computerized paddle-shift transmissions.
