Doug Cowan is one of the few young artists to burst upon the art scene with great technique and the ability to conceptualize. Capable of using a variety of mediums, from pen and ink to watercolor, he is able to produce an exceptionally detailed piece of art. Doug's original art has been shown at the MassMutual Financial Headquarters, the Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta, the NY Society of Illustrators, the Guild Studio School and most recently the Salmagundi Club in NY. Notable clients include the New York Times, Esquire Russia, Lucasfilm Ltd., Topps Co., Wind-Up Records, MTV and Clinique.
Doug has affinity for the outdoors and many of his pieces are inspired by his love of nature. He is equally adept at both Black and White and color, and he can work both digitally and traditionally.
