One of his most memorable works was commissioned for the movie 'The Rocketeer.' John's work has a retro sensibility reminiscent of skyscrapers like the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, erected in the '20s and '30s. Always highly in demand, John works out of his cozy studio in San Francisco's picturesque Chinatown, and his art has been seen for years all over the bay area.
