I am excited to offer this incredible 1961 Corvette Fuelie. This just-completed frame-off restored '61 Corvette Fuelie is 1 of 159 built and is offered in show condition. Silver exterior and red interior is truly an amazing color combination in my opinion. VIN # is 10867S107863 and mileage on the odometer shows 94,406 although the mileage is exempt.
- Sateen Silver paint (only 747 were painted silver in 1961) with all-new Roman Red interior make this a very classy color combination
- Matching-numbers 283/315 hp fuel injected engine rates the highest horsepower for 1961 ("CS" on the stamp pad and "320" on the fuelie unit designate 315 hp)

-This was the last year wide whitewall tires were available.
-This 1961 Corvette with a 283-cid 315-hp solid-lifter fuel-injected V-8 and the 3.70:1 rear axle can go from 0-to-30 mph in 2.6 seconds; from 0-to-60 mph in 6.0 seconds and from 0-to-100 mph in 14.2 seconds.
-It did the quarter mile in 15.5 seconds at 106 mph and had a maximum speed of 140 mph.
-This was the last year a contrasting color could be ordered from the factory for the side coves.
Rochester Fuel Injection System Code # 7017320
In Late 1960, a newer plenum design with improved airflow was introduced. This unit had a smooth top with no ribs and was #7017320. This continued through 1961 on high horsepower cars.
