1937 Ford Coupe Hot Rod Downs Body AC

Available today is one truly sweet ride. I am pleased to offer this 1937 Ford Coupe Hot Rod. This car has all of the right goodies such as a new 350 crate motor and Downs fiberglass body. Downs is known for their exceptional fitting bodies and attention to detail.

Car was completed in July 2001 and was appraised at $60,000 at that time (appraisal is included). Car has approx. 15,000 miles on the original build, but the motor was replaced in 2008 and only has approx. 5000 miles on it. Transmission was completely rebuilt with many upgrades including a new lock up torque converter as well as new brakes were installed in winter 2009. Paint is PPG51482 Purple Pearl. Paint is base coat, clear coat and is in great shape.

- 2 inch stainless pipes with series 40 Flowmaster mufflers to the rear car

- Full built 700R4 trans with a 2200 rpm torque converter that is fully auto lock up

- Master power billet mint high torque starter
- Tanks reproduction 16 gallon poly tank (in stock location) with electric pump built in (no fuel pump noise) with a access panel to the pump in the trunk
- 3/8 steel fuel feed line
- 5/16 steel return fuel line
- Walker radiator
- Twin fans
- Twin Hotronics fan relay control boxes turned on and off by the GM computer

BRAKES:

- All new brake system:
- 11 inch disc brakes front and rear
- Dual diaphragm 8 inch power booster

Vehicle Condition

I have not seen or photographed this great street rod. I am relying on the pictures and description provided to me by the seller. This car really seems to be in excellent shape and is well maintained. You will enjoy cruise nights and cars shows in this baby. It will not disappoint. Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. I will make sure to get every questions answered in a timely basis. However, don't hesitate too much on this car. If you hesitate, you will lose.
