Wurlitzer Model 1100 Jukebox 1948 Incredible Original 100% Complete

You are here   >  Sold  >  Sold Items

I am pleased to present this very original and unmolested Wurlitzer 1100 jukebox. It is rare to see one in this wonderful and in working condition with coin gear. Remember that a machine like this is highly sought after due to the fact that it is original and original only once. Take notice of the original cloud decal on the dome. All of the plastics, veneer and plating etc. are original.

The Wurlitzer 1100 Jukebox was produced from 1947 to 1949. The look of the 1100 is indicative of the move away from 1940’s art deco design to the more modern look favored in the 1950’s. This was one of the first models where the plastic dome over the record player is larger so the working mechanism can be viewed.

The 1100 is a 24-selection jukebox that plays 78-RPM records. As the jukebox plays, brilliant multi-colored lights rotate within the pilasters, creating an impressive light show. Another interesting feature of this machine is the rotating song selector. The extensive chrome reflects the lights as the jukebox plays.

This was one of the first products to be made after WWII when the factories were being converted from war time production. In fact, the shape of the dome is said to be modeled after the turret on fighter planes.

Dimensions: 57 7/8”H x 30 1/2”W x 27 1/4”D
Weight: 355 lbs.
