| 1967 VW Beetle Chop Top BugYou are here > Sold > Sold Vehicles
VIN # is 5098462 and mileage shows 2222. Mileage cannot be confirmed but conceivably can be the miles driven since the car was built in the early 1970's. This car is unique because of the time and expense that went into the chop top itself. The top was cut into 16 pieces for perfect symmetry - builder estimates approximately $6300 to duplicate chop top today.
The current owner purchased the car in 1975 for his wife. It has been a garage queen ever since but well cared for.

- One crazy but well built chop top Bug - Fast, fun and unique - You couldn't possibly build this car today for the asking price
Vehicle Condition - - I have not personally inspected or photographed this vehicle. I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller. This is not a show car, it is a daily driver. The owner noted some paint flaws but nothing major. This would be a unique VW for Bug meets but would need a re-paint to be a real show car. A great value and great fun. I invite and encourage any interested party to inspect this car in the Fayetteville, NC. area and determine for yourself that this car is a wild ride. Seeing is really believing.
