1970 Pontiac GTO Pro Touring Frame Off Restored Beauty

Up for grabs today is one very cool 1970 GTO convertible. This is a frame off nut and bolt restoration GTO Pro Touring car. Very appealing in it's yellow/gold color. If you like to be noticed when you cruise around town, then please read on. VIN #is 242670Z124180. Mileage is 70,456 miles - believed to be correct but not able to confirm. Car was completed in the summer of 2008 and only driven approx. 300 miles since it was completed.

Body and Paint features:

Project started with a nice clean body (not a rust bucket). All panels were re-fitted then blocked smooth and straightened. Body was primed and re-dry blocked again. Then, base coat color was applied and then 4 coats of high solid clear coat were applied. Lastly, it was wet sanded and buffed to the smooth high gloss shine that you see below.

Wheels and Tires:

This GTO rides on BF GOODRICH G-Force T/A'S 255/55ZR16 mounted on new style Cragar wheels -
If you desire factory correct wheels and tires, they can be installed at no additional charge - owner will keep the Cragars.

According to the PHS documentation, this GTO was originally delivered with air conditioning. The previous owner had the system removed so as not to rob any power from the engine whatsoever. Vintage air can be installed at an additional charge.

Vehicle Condition

I have not personally inspected this vehicle. I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller. I can tell based on pictures and conversations with the owner that this GTO has benefitted from a very expensive and thorough frame off restoration. It grabs lots of attention everywhere it goes.

It may sound cliche but it's true - You couldn't begin to build this car for $130,000. Tons of value here!
